A $2 search will show you if the vehicle you want to buy is recorded as free from debt. It may also tell you if the car is recorded as stolen or written off.
A $2 search will show you if the goods you want to buy are likely to be free from debt or other things that could put your money at risk.
Registering on the PPSR is a way to let people know if personal property such as cars, goods or company assets have security interests over them

PPSR outage – Daylight saving – Sunday 6 April
The PPSR will be unavailable on Sunday 6 April 2025 from 1:30 am AEDT to 3:05 am AEST to allow for the change from Daylight Saving Time to Standard Time.
