Accessibility features
We’ve designed our website to meet the Australian Government standard for web accessibility. These include the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 (WCAG 2.1).
These features include:
- meets all WCAG 2.1 (AA) meaning all Australians, including those with a disability or with technical limitations can access the information on this site
- works well across the majority of popular web browsers and devices
- download times have been minimised as much as possible
- aligns with the Australian Government’s Digital Service Standard 2.0.
We use independent third parties to confirm that we are meeting accessibility and inclusive guidelines.

Document formats
We aim to have all information on our website in accessible and inclusive HTML format whenever possible. Sometimes this is not possible. Instead, it is appropriate to provide an offline version for downloading. These documents may be in Portable Document Format (PDF) or other formats such as the latest versions of Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel.
To access PDF documents, you need Adobe Acrobat Reader software. It is available as a free download from the Adobe website. People who use speech readers may also need to access the Adobe Accessibility Resource Centre to be able to read the content of PDF documents.
To access Microsoft Office documents, you can create a free Microsoft 365 account to access to web versions of the programs.
