Registrar's Notice – Scheduled Maintenance

Arrangements when PPS Register is unavailable

Section 147 of the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 provides that the Registrar is able to refuse access to the Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) or otherwise suspend the operation of the PPSR, in whole or part, if the Registrar considers that it is not practical to provide access to the PPSR. The Registrar may also suspend the operation of the PPSR for any reason with at least seven days prior notice.

Scheduled routine maintenance is advised by the Registrar through a message on the PPSR website (see below).

If the PPSR is unavailable due to an unscheduled outage the Registrar will advise through a message on the PPSR website homepage.

Should the PPSR website be unavailable, messages will be posted to the Australian Financial Security Authority website at www.afsa.gov.au.

Any unscheduled unavailability of the PPSR will be treated with urgency and fixed as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

PPSR unavailable on Wednesday evenings

The PPSR is scheduled for routine maintenance every Wednesday except for Wednesdays falling on or between 21 December of one year and 1 January of the following year.

During the scheduled maintenance period specified below, the PPSR's operation is suspended under paragraph 147(4)(b) of the Act. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

This 'Registrar's Notice – Scheduled Maintenance' replaces Notice 9. The suspension of the PPSR described in this notice is effective starting from 15 May 2024.

Scheduled maintenance period: every Wednesday evening

Start: 9:00 pm to 11:59 pm (Canberra time).

The Scheduled maintenance period does not include Wednesdays falling on or between 21 December of one year and 1 January of the following year.

The above details were correct at time of publication however are subject to change from time to time. Any changes to scheduled maintenance will by advised by the Registrar through a message on the PPSR website homepage.

This notice is provided under sub-section 147(6) of the Act.

Notice of registration event

Pursuant to the transfer of the Portfolio from ANZ to Macquarie, on 3 May 2016, all registrations on the Personal Property Securities Register in the name of/ under the control of ANZ in the secured party group 102356444 were transferred to secured party group 102352351 in the name of and/or under the control of Macquarie.
