Registrations by kind of interest

PPSR statistics for the number of registrations categorised by kind. The kinds of registrations include security interests, proceeds of crime, court orders, hoon liens and other prescribed property.

PPSR statistics for registration kinds

The majority of registrations on the PPSR are security interests.

The other registration kinds are:

  • Proceeds of crime – personal property that is subject to a notice or an order for confiscation or forfeiture under proceeds of crime law.
  • Hoon liens – a motor vehicle that was used to commit certain offences, and has been, or is the subject of, an application for impoundment, immobilisation or forfeiture.
  • Court orders – personal property that is subject to an order of a court or tribunal.
  • Other prescribed property under the PPS Act.
