Managing B2G Mailbox addresses for a SPG using Web UI

You can use the PPSR web user interface to add, view or change a B2G account without triggering an address for service change.

Add or remove a B2G mailbox as the address for service

Log into your PPSR account, then:

  1. Go to Secured party groups and select Manage a Secured Party Group from the drop-down menu.
  2. Enter your SPG number and access code and select Retrieve.
  3. Locate the Address for service section and select Edit.
  4. To add a B2G mailbox:
    1. Tick ‘Include Business to government (B2G) mailbox of a B2G account customer in the address for service’
    2. Enter the B2G account customer number
    3. Click Retrieve account name
    4. Scroll to the bottom of the address for service and click save.
  5. To remove a B2G mailbox
    1. Untick ‘Include Business to government (B2G) mailbox of a B2G account customer in the address for service’
    2. Scroll to the bottom of the address for service and click save.

Add and remove a B2G mailbox as an additional notification address

Log into your PPSR account, then:

  1. Go to Secured party groups and select Manage a Secured Party Group from the drop-down menu.
  2. Enter your SPG number and access code and select Retrieve.
  3. Locate the Address for service section and select Edit.
  4. Scroll down to the Additional notification addresses section
  5. Select the Notification type you'd like the recipient to receive (you can only choose one at a time) and select Set address.
  6. Enter the B2G account customer number and select Retrieve account name 
  7. Optional: you can also add an additional email address.
  8. Select Update.
  9. You'll be taken back to the Group details page.
  10. For more than one notification type, repeat steps 5-7.
  11. Select Save.

Change CC copies of notifications

By default, only verification statements are allowed to be cc’d. To change the notification types that can be cc’d:

Log into your PPSR account, then:

  1. Go to Secured party groups and select Manage a Secured Party Group from the drop-down menu.
  2. Enter your SPG number and access code and select Retrieve.
  3. Locate the Address for service section and select Edit.
  4. Scroll down to the Additional notification addresses section
  5. Select the Notification type you'd like the recipient to receive (you can only choose one at a time) and select Set address.
  6. Select the check box Allow copies of this notification to be sent to CC addresses and select Update.
  7. You'll be taken back to the Group details page. Select Save.

Important: When notification types are set to yes, any user (including Web UI users) will receive a copy of the notification if they complete the activity.

Note: B2G users can only set their CC addresses using the request outlined in the B2G specification and WSDL on the B2G technical resources page.

Change account settings when the B2G mailbox is the Address for service

Log into your PPSR account, then:

  1. Go to Account customers and select Manage a Secured Party Group from the drop-down menu.
  2. Scroll down to Preferences and select Edit
  3. In the Business to Government section, review the check box under Do you want them only sent to the B2G Mailbox.
  4. If you want the tokens and access codes sent to the email address for service, ensure the box is unchecked. If you only want the notifications sent to the B2G mailbox, check the box.

Tips:

  • Verification statements are always emailed to the address for service with a B2G account as the address for service.
  • Tokens and access codes will be emailed to an additional email address with a B2G account as the address for service, even if the B2G account does not allow them to be sent.
